Popis:	The occurrence and development of the ossification nucleus of the femoral head on X-ray films were studied in 85 children with hip joint dysplasia/dislocation. Delayed development was found to be related to treatment modalities or the severity of the dysplasia. Delayed development of the ossification nucleus of the femoral head is probably of considerable prognostic importance.
