Popis: The purpose of the present study is to propose a new high efficiency particle identification method for 3D PTV, based on a binary cross correlation method and its necessary condition. The effects of sizes of imaginary particle, search subregion, and identification subregion on the particle identification efficiency are discussed through numerical simulation.
