Fissidens hyalinus, F. flabellulus, and F. ganguleei are reported new to mainland China, and a second collection of F. brevinervis is reported from Guangdong Province. As a result of a Sino-American Botanical Expedition to Yunnan (1984), and a Sino-American Bryological Expedition to Xishuangbanna and Guangdong (1986-1987), the following new distribution records are reported. FISSIDENS BREVINERVIS Broth.GUANGDONG PROV. LOFU MOUNTAIN: On boulder along stream bed, ca. 150-185 m, Magill 8152, duplicate examined by R. A. Pursell (MO, PAC, PE, SMS).
