Popis: A field trial was conducted at the Macon Ridge Location, Northeast Research Station, located near Winnsboro (Franklin Parish). Plots were 50 ft long by 5 rows (40 inch row spacing) and arranged in a RCB design with 4 replicates. Insecticides were applied using a tractor mounted compressed air sprayer calibrated to deliver 10 gpa at 35 psi through TX12 hollow cone nozzles (2 per row). Insecticide treatments were applied in R5 stage soybeans on 23 Aug. Posttreatment samples (25 sweeps per plot) were taken with a standard 15 inch diam net at 2, 5 and 7 DAT. No rainfall occurred during the experimental period. Plots were irrigated as needed, and moisture was not considered a limiting factor for insecticide efficacy.
