Their project included (1) discussion surrounding the need to help children become literate and facets that impact student engagement and achievement; (2) pedagogical facets related to technology integration; (3) stakeholders’ beliefs about technology integration; (4) evaluation of the process of, and necessary supports for, integrating technology in classrooms; and (5) discussion of issues surrounding the successful incorporation of e-readers into a literacy program. This chapter introduces the study’s rationale, framework, research questions, methodology, data, findings, and conclusion.
