Popis: | 1. Explosive hardening substantially strengthens austenitic steel 4Kh12N8G8MFB, particularly the surface layers. The larger the pressure, the greater the hardening. 2. Preliminary explosive hardening accelerates aging processes in steel 4Kh12N8G8MFB. The effect increases with the pressure of the shock wave. 3. Carbides coalesce at a higher rate during aging in material subjected to explosive hardening. 4. The hardening of steel 4Kh12N8G8MFB by explosive impact is retained for a long time only with aging at 650°C. With aging at 700–750°C the additional hardening is retained for only a relatively short time. |
