Popis: | In this letter, a measurement-based study of 60-GHz channels with 2-GHz bandwidth for in-band-full-duplex (IBFD) wireless communication systems is presented. Both the communication channel and the self-interference (SI) channel with different settings of transmit-receive antenna spacing and polarization configurations are measured in an indoor environment. The channel dispersive behaviors in direction and delay domains and the power ratio of the communication channel to the SI channel are compared with respect to the antenna spacing and co- or cross polarizations. The SI can decrease up to 27 dB when the antenna spacing is extended from 5 to 20 cm. Polarization isolation can suppress the SI by over 10 dB. These results are of great importance for designing IBFD communication systems with desirable efficiency of SI cancellation. |
