Popis: The behavior of mortars containing fly ashes and slag in sea water has been studied under 2 different exposure conditions. The study results show that the criterion of strength at 28 days does not guarantee the durability in sea water. It was found that the direct substitution in the mortar, of fly ashes or slag for a certain amount of cement, does not improve the long term behavior. It was also found that humid curing during 7 days is, by far, the best.
