Popis: | CuBO2 delafossite oxide was synthesized using a solid-state reaction and molten-salt method. Structural characterization was carried out using X-ray diffraction (XRD) which confirmed the delafossite structure with a hexagonal R-3m space group in all samples. Its magnetic behavior at room temperature was measured and paramagnetism was observed. However, ferromagnetism was achieved in the CuBO2 sample prepared by a molten-salt method. This indicated that short-range interactions of B-B produce a mixed effect on the magnetic properties of the CuBO2 system. Furthermore, the dielectric properties of CuBO2 ceramics were investigated and giant dielectric permittivity was observed. |
