Popis: | Hexagonal-shaped potassium titanate is used as a reinforcing filler, and the effect of silane functionalization of filler on the wear resistance of PA-6,6/PTH composites is investigated. Wear loss is strongly affected by filler content and its surface functionalization. Addition of functionalized filler results in improved wear resistance and a smoother worn surface compared to pristine filler, and minimum wear loss is observed at 10 wt%. Those results are attributed to uniform dispersion and enhanced interfacial interaction between G-PTH and PA-6,6. |
