A drawing of a part of the âflangeâ type was tested for manufacturability, a method for obtaining a workpiece was selected, a set of technological documentation was developed: route maps, operational maps and sketch maps. The necessary metal-cutting equipment was selected and the cutting tool was selected, the calculation of the adjustment size and the machining allowance were carried out; cutting modes are assigned. Designing a jig for processing 2-stage holes, a drawing of the fixture and the calculation of the fixing force and fixture for accuracy are given. In order to improve the operational characteristics of the âNutâ part, a decision was made to chrome plating, which will give the part corrosion protection. A technological process for applying a coating in the manufacture of the âNutâ part with the necessary technological documentation has been developed. |
