Popis: Analysis of a large volume of published data is used to consider the structure, magnetic properties, and special features of production of nanocrystalline alloys based on the Nd 2 Fe 14 B and FePt compounds (in part 1) and of nanocrystalline strontium ferrites and alloys of the Fe - Co - O system (in part 2 to appear in the next issue). Ways for further study of magnetically hard materials are outlined.
