Electrophysical properties of bromine-intercalated low-dimensional carbon structures

Popis: | The temperature dependence of the resistivity ρ of a brominated material containing multiwall carbon nanotubes, and also that of brominated crystalline and pyrolytic graphites, are measured in the temperature interval 4.2–700K. The temperature dependence of the resistivity is investigated at different rates of heating and cooling in two gaseous media — air and helium. A comparison of ρ(T) for the initial and brominated materials is made. For the brominated materials unusual behavior of ρ(T) at temperatures above 390K is revealed. A conjecture is put forth which describes the behavior found. |
