Popis: | The cornerstone of interprofessional education is to develop and sustain effective working relationships among diverse professionals to provide better patient care. Taking this working relationship a step further by providing a service-learning experience as an added IPE component poses a significant but exhilarating challenge. The purpose of this project was to coordinate an interprofessional group of graduate and undergraduate students with faculty mentors from their respective specialties. The Interprofessional teams presented a collaborative educational symposium for community healthcare professionals to improve the oral health status of women and children. |
