This report summaries a comparative study of various heights of rcc square silos under seismic zone III based on some literature survey. This analysis is done in STAAD Pro software. Now a days it becomes necessary to store the bulk solids like grains, cement and granular material in huge quantities. In this report we have analysed rcc square silo in seismic zone III with different heights. The results are presented graphically and in a tabular format.. All the analysis has been carried out considering the IS 1893-2016, IS 456-2000 and IS 4995(part1)-1974. Based on the analysis max lateral displacement obtained for critical loading for every model at different height in zone III is 0.182 shown in model IV. |
