Popis: | In modern engineering industries, unconventional machining methods are applied to form the hard material. Laser machining is used to cut the hard material with accuracy. The cutting experiment is conducted on strenx 900 steel plates. The experiment is processed under some factors such as cutting angle, cutting speed and laser power. Computer Numerical Control (CNC) laser cutting machine was used to cut the strenx steel plate. The cutting quality is confirmed through measurement of Surface Roughness (SR). The result is analyzed and it is determined the best cutting quality which is derived from taguchi technique. The parametric effect is studied through variance analysis and interaction plot. |
