Popis:	The use of supercritical fluid chromatography for the analysis of compounds of interest in forensic toxicology is described. A data base of more than 100 test compounds including many that require special preparative or chromatographic techniques for analysis by gas or high performance liquid chromatography is presented. The data was obtained using combined flame ionization and ultra violet detectors, connected in series, thus enabling data for both detectors to be recorded in a single chromatographic run. The use of a supercritical fluid extraction accessory for sample injection/concentration is also reported, as well as various instrumental parameters affecting chromatography and extraction. The facility of incorporating supercritical fluid techniques in analytical toxicology is discussed.
