Relevance of the topic: The hydropower potential of the Kyrgyz Republic occupies a leading position in energy-fuel countries. However, rural areas are experiencing difficulties with power shortages. The construction of the Orto-Tokoyskaya HPP provides uninterrupted supply of electricity for consumption in the boarding houses of the Issyk-Kul region, which will positively affect the development of the tourism infrastructure of the region that does not violate international agreements of the Central Asian countries.
