WPT Area Expansion Technique Utilizing Magnetic MISO Beamformer

Popis: This paper proposes and demonstrates the magnetic resonance beamforming wireless power transfer (WPT) system to expand transmission area. The proposed WPT system employs the multiple input and single output (MISO) beamforming wireless transfer technique. The proposed $4\text{x}1$ MISO magnetic resonance WPT system improves its transmission efficiency with the beamforming control technique and expands the operation area. The simulation results indicate the proposed system widens 6.25 times area compared with that of the array system without the beamforming control and the maximum improved efficiency is 44%.
