Popis:	A research network has examined how quality management is implemented in small and medium sized enterprises [SMEs] in seven European partner countries. The research has taken place within the framework of the EU Leonardo Da Vinci programme. SMEs in the metalworking and food processing industries were asked what the consequences of the implementation of quality management were for the skill needs of employees. The overall aim of the research is to identify quality related vocational training requirements for the EU.
