Popis:	Results of experiments involving addition of of copper sulfate to cultures of sulfate-reducing bacteria lead to the conclusion that copper toxicity cannot be used as an argument against syngenetic theories of sulfide ore formation. In the discussion, the impossibility of direct bacteriogenic formation of copper sulfide ore bodies continues to be championed.
