This paper describes the GeoMod project, the aim of which is to update the Rhen et al. , 1997 geoscientific model of the Aspo Hard Rock Laboratory in Sweden. The update is based on geological, rock mechanics, thermal properties, geohydrological and hydrogeochemical models using results of all the investigations and experiments carried out at the Laboratory during its experimental phase since 1995. The project and this paper emphasise the integration of geoscientific disciplines and the extent to which individual model results support each other for the site description. |
