Popis: | The xylopodium of Trichocline macrocephala Less. is used in folk medicine in the extreme northeast region of Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil, to treat respiratory tract disorders. This study reports the isolation and elucidation of two undescribed compounds, named 7-methoxy-glaupalol and 8-hydroxy-isogerberacoumarin, along with glaupalol, 5-methoxycoumarin, 5,6-dimethoxycoumarin and 7-methoxycoumarin. Their structures were determined by application of 1D and 2D NMR techniques and HRESIMS analysis. The 5-methylcoumarin glaupalol exhibited antichemotactic activity on leukocytes migration at concentrations from 0.01 to 5 μg/mL. |
