The problems of sound signal transmission and storage are considered. It is shown that the existing systems do not provide signal transmission with natural dynamic range. The algorithms used to compress and restore the audio signal lead to distortions and increase the signal-to-noise ratio only relative to the noise in the pause. An algorithm that ensures the preservation of the signal shape and increases the signal-to-noise ratio in the pause and on the signal background is considered. The results of objective measurements confirming the efficiency of the algorithm are presented. |
