Popis: | This paper investigates the three-phase pulse with modulation (PWM) rectifier-inverter system based on direct power and torque control strategy with dynamic performance improvement of DC-link voltage using fuzzy logic (FL) technique as well as the estimation of the rotor speed by an extended Kalman filter (EKF) method. Since, rejection of impact of induction motor (IM) disturbance, control of DC-link voltage and unity power factor achievement with least harmonics may not be easily handled by proportional-integral (PI) regulators which are mainly designed for limited control bandwidth. In order to mitigate these drawbacks, a fuzzy logic controller has been proposed. The reference value of active power is defined by both output power feed-forward from inverter side to rectifier side and the reference active power in the rectifier side. Effectiveness of the control algorithm is examined through several simulation tests using MATLAB/Simulink environment. As a result, good performances in steady and transient-state are achieved by the proposed control strategies for PWM rectifier-inverter system. |
