Popis: 1. 1. The phosphatidylethanolamine of eggs from R. pipiens are more unsaturated than those of A. dacnicolor . 2. 2. The eggs of R. pipiens also have a higher content of phosphatidylethanolamine than eggs of A. dacnicolor . 3. 3. As the eggs develop into tadpoles the phosphatidylethanolamine content increases. 4. 4. The phosphatidylethanolamine in both species is more unsaturated than the phosphatidycholine. 5. 5. Since R. pipiens lives in lower temperature environment than A. dacnicolor these changes in phosphatidylethanolamine may represent an adaptation to environment leading to a more fluid membrane.
