Popis:	The e.s.r. spectra of a series of naphth-1-yl phenyl nitroxides have been interpreted with the aid of complementary n.m.r. measurements. McLachlan MO calculations on naphth-1-yl phenyl nitroxide gives values for the naphthyl proton coupling constants which are not in good agreement with the experimental ones.
