The topic of the master's thesis: âRapid prototyping technologies for the development of the casting process in the manufacture of power engineering productsâ. In this paper, the process of SLS-printing a prototype made of polystyrene for use in rapid prototyping technology was investigated. The paper describes the methods used in the course of the study, the materials studied and the experiments carried out, also the influence of various factors on the characteristics of the printed polystyrene part was investigated and the necessary conclusions and conclusions were made. The introduction reveals the essence of the work, its relevance. The subsequent work reveals the main idea outlined in the introduction. The whole work can be conditionally divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part (the first and second chapters), the basic concepts are reflected, the main processes and methods of obtaining prototypes using rapid prototyping technologies, materials and equipment on the basis of which a prototype of a pump wheel made of polystyrene for casting on smelted models was made in a short time. One of the advanced methods of manufacturing highâprecision prototypes - SLS printing - is considered. The advantage of the technology is the lack of supports, which positively affects the quality of the printed part. The experimental part contains the study of printing parameters and the production of parts using the technology of the rapid prototyping process. The conclusion reflects all the results obtained, presents the conclusions obtained in the course of the work. |
