Popis: Laser photoacoustic (PA) spectroscopy has shown itself to be a promising method for routine monitoring of trace amounts of pollutants in the atmosphere. The use of isotope-replaced variants of CO{sub 2} as an active laser medium is a fairly natural and simple approach for selective detection of small amounts of air pollutants. The present work introduces an intraresonator PA gas analyzer based on continuous {sup 13}C {sup 16} O laser which can give rapid determinations in less than one minute. Three air pollutants were investigated by PA determination: ammonia, phosphine, and arsine. The PA method show close agreement with calculated values of the pollutants.
