With the popularization of three-dimensional digital reconstruction technology, stealth correction technology has entered a period of rapid development. With the wide application of stealth correction technology in clinic, more and more doctors use the digital model diagnosis system. In the process of orthodontic treatment, lowering the anterior teeth is one of the common methods to open the occlusion. Due to the limitation of membrane materials, there is still a certain gap between the effect of invisible appliance and the control of anterior tooth height in the process of adduction compared with the traditional fixed appliance. Therefore, the research and analysis of the actual efficiency of the invisible appliance will help us to understand the working principle of the invisible appliance and provide a theoretical basis for clinical orthodontic design. In this paper, a three-dimensional finite element model of invisible appliance, lower dentition, periodontal ligament and alveolar bone was established. The edge of the appliance was shortened by 1.0 mm, and the average dislocation force of the lower anterior teeth was reduced by 11.17–21.01%; the edge of the appliance was shortened by 1.5 mm, and the average dislocation force of the lower anterior teeth was reduced by 20.40–34.71%; the edge of the appliance was shortened by 2.0 mm, and the average dislocation force of the lower anterior teeth was reduced by 27.42–45.90%. |
