Popis:	The paper examines self-regulation of corporate governance in Africa and argues that the current framework is inadequate in addressing weak institutions, high rate of corruption and poor disclosure of information in the continent. It proposes a pyramidal strategy where both voluntary and mandatory rules are applicable.
