In this study, we propose a methodd to determine ecotoxicity more conveniently than conventional testing methods using luminometer for vibrio fischeri bioassay introduced in 2017. The device to be developed is to detect the luminous intensity of the luminescence bacteria in a dark room of 15oC for 30 minutes, and store them as data, and use machine vision, one of the artificial intelligence techniques, to determine and predict toxicity. For this purpose, three types of heavy metals, Cu, Pb and Hg, and perfluorinated compounds PFOS (Heptadecafluorooctaneulphonic acid solution, ~40% in (T)) were used. The results of ecological toxicity assessment through digital image processing were measured very similarly to those using conventional Luminometer. Although it is somewhat insufficient to generalize as an experiment on four toxic substances, it has been proposed that practical devices that can measure ecological toxicity using luminous bacteria can be developed relatively simply through experiments on various substances in the future. |
