Popis:	In this article, we review and compare different methods for the localization of an illuminator of opportunity for passive radar systems employing cooperative targets. For assessment and comparison, we use numerical simulations and real-world radar measurements. To achieve reliable operation under real-world conditions, a correct and robust association of the bistatic radar target observations with ground truth information is necessary. We introduce a novel solution to this issue with an efficient preprocessing algorithm based on a planar approximation.
