Popis:	Convex bodies are frequently used as atoms of more complex objects in computer vision. The aim of this paper is to present the Minkowski functionals as a tool for convex shape analysis for single bodies. We define ratios of these functionals to elaborate a mapping from 3D bodies into the unit square. Thus we can discriminate between filaments, pancakes and ribbons.
