Popis: Hydroponic farming and aquaponic farming are the most innovative methods in the agricultural sector; hydroponic is the cultivation of plant off-soil, but aquaponic is the junction between hydroponic and aquaculture, which is the cultivation of fish. Because more one criterion the no soil-borne disease, reducing insect infection and pest, further elimination of the pesticides used in the monitoring system reduce the toxicity, the time of growing plants in the hydroponic system are less compared to crop grown in the conventional method. Finally, the nutrients are available only for plants. The aquaponic system is beneficial even in a critical environment like dessert, heat and cold. The system is not affected by climate change and more stable in all seasons. This is the principal criteria to successfully adapting in the home and commercial domain; the system can be automatically operated with the IoT technologies. The paper at hand proposes a comparative study between hydroponic and aquaponic farming. to have a global vision of both methods.
