Popis: This paper represents an analysis of reliability indicators through the concept of the block diagram (RBD). The analyzed device is an intelligent lighting system based on a hybrid electricity system. It is a multifunctional autonomous device designed for street lighting, being at the same time a powerful platform for urban monitoring, internet access and mobile telecommunications.Since new directions of development of the energy sector are pursued, the reason for choosing this device is that it represents an autonomous system that uses renewable sources by operating in parallel two systems (wind system and photovoltaic system) of energy conversion that allows increased safety in power supply and achieving superior efficiencies. This hybrid system is an intelligent lighting system fully powered by solar and wind energy. Its unique design combines advanced aerodynamics with simple geometry and allows continuous functioning in urban areas. The photovoltaic cells cover the upper surface of the casing as the turbine directs the wind flow to a diffuser, thus creating an accelerated effect in the energy store in the battery, which serves as a platform for additional services.Reliability Block Diagram is based on a visual representation of the relationships between the system relative to its components. RBD represents the model of a system based on the operation rate, respectively defect rate of the components.
