Popis: | Double-chambered left ventricle (DCLV) is a rare congenital heart disease. A hypertrophic muscle bundle in the left ventricle may cause varying degrees of obstruction in the middle of the left ventricle, resulting in different clinical symptoms. Here, we report a patient with a history of repeated chest tightness who was misdiagnosed with coronary heart disease and ventricular aneurysm. After repeated ultrasound examinations, the patient was eventually diagnosed with DCLV, which was confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging and coronary angiography. This case highlights the necessity to improve the accuracy of DCLV diagnosis via echocardiogram. |
