The article updates the problems of the formation of social responsibility of future teachers of physical culture of the New Ukrainian School in the process of pedagogical training. The special role of pedagogical practice as an important condition of professional training of students is theoretically substantiated. The characteristic of social responsibility as an integrated professional quality of a teacher is given. The purpose of the study is to analyze innovative approaches to the organization of pedagogical practice in the context of the implementation of the New Ukrainian School reform and the formation of social responsibility as an important professional quality of a teacher in students of physical education institutions. In the process of research, methods of theoretical analysis of scientific literature were used: generalization, formalization, abstraction, synthesis, which are used in pedagogy. As a result of the study, an analysis of promising modern pedagogical approaches that can be used in the organization of various types of pedagogical practices was carried out. Defined tasks, forms of work organization in the process of practical training. The main conditions for the formation of social responsibility of the future teacher of the New Ukrainian School include: goal-directed activity, construction of work content, ensuring high student activity and humane benevolent relationships in the “teacher, teacher ‒ student” system, awareness of the practical significance of the lessons. The formation of social responsibility in students in the process of organizing and conducting pedagogical practices includes the following stages: preparatory (developing a strategy for the organization of practice, distribution of responsibilities), propaedeutic (updating the theoretical knowledge of intern students), main (implementation of assigned tasks), final (summing up completed work).
