Popis: | This paper reviews popular methods for estimating damper currents in field-would salient rotor synchronous machines. Most research dealing with electric machine analysis tend to simplify multi-damper bar designs with two orthogonal dampers (commonly called D and Q). This paper uses an internally developed FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software to independently analyze the current in each damper bar using 3 popular methods. |
