Popis: | The task of supporting medical diagnosis by computer applications is twofold first, we have to accumulate and represent medical knowledge; secondly, we can apply these findings to individual cases. This paper is focused on the initial task the representation of case-independent diagnostic knowledge. We provide a representation scheme for the entire medical knowledge. The scheme can be applied throughout diagnosis, regardless to the original diagnostic problem domain. It has been implemented by combining object-oriented modeling with logic programming techniques. |
