| Popis: | The present manuscript assessed the three-factor (social contact, response seeking, and relational assurances) Facebook Relational Maintenance Measure (FRMM) in relation to four relationship quality indicators—satisfaction, liking, closeness, and commitment—across two sets of data. The social contact factor was positively related to satisfaction, commitment, liking, and closeness in study 1 and satisfaction and commitment in study 2. The response-seeking factor was negatively correlated with satisfaction and liking in study 1 and satisfaction and commitment in study 2. Finally, the relational assurances factor was positively correlated with satisfaction, commitment, and closeness in study 1 but did not emerge as a significant predictor in study 2. |
