Popis: One of the more interesting aspects of vibrations and liquids is its wettability; it is related to surface energies comprising solid-vapor, solid-liquid and liquid-vapor interfaces. Many industry and technology applications, such as print, paint, inject, lubrication, surface engineering, etc., have a great interest to enhance the wettability. One way to enhance the wettability of a liquid on a surface is adding a chemical surfactant, particles or another chemical mixture to a solution or suspension. This technique has the disadvantage that sometimes changes the chemical composition of the samples, which very often is not desired. One previous experimental work has shown that the application of vertical vibrations on a solid surface increases its wettability. The wettability study from a point of view more complete than the former, working at a greater frequency range and studying the transient stage during the drop spreading until it reaches an equilibrium position is considered in this paper. In particul...
