Popis:	The measurement of the stimulated emission cross-section in Nd:GSAG in the 941-944nm wavelength-region is presented. A peak-cross-section of 4.0·10-20cm2 and FWHM-linewidth of 1.5nm was obtained. Also first results with diode pumped Nd:GSAG amplifiers are shown.
