| Popis: | This paper describes the implementing techniques of the deductive database system, PI-DDBS, which is based on combining C-PROLOG with INGRES. The system connecting method to couple tightly PROLOG with RDBNS in the physical level is used to build PI-DDBS. According to analysing the systems of C-PROLOG and INGRES, the techniques of joinning the inference together the database query and optimizing the execution sequence of deductive query are designed to, raise the efficiency of deductive query. An environment of natural language understanding has been developed on PI-DDBS. |
