ESR detection of irradiated seashells

Popis: Among the protocols for identification of irradiated foodstuffs submitted to the European Committe of Standardization, two using ESR (food containing bone or cellulose) were finally accepted as official ‘draft European standards’ in Berlin on 9–10 June 1994. We present here some new results for oyster and mussel shells, and an ESR draft protol is proposed.
