Popis: In this paper are listed certain trilobite genera considered both to be important in east Asia and to have relevance when defining Gondwanaland Ordovician faunas. Trilobite evidence indicates that China, Korea, southeast Asia and Kazakhstan may have formed part of, or at least have been located close to, Gondwanaland during the Ordovician. Ordovician Gondwanaland, extending from the South Pole to across the Equator, was large enough to account for the considerable differences in the faunas between the cold and warm areas. The distribution of Gondwanaland trilobites varied throughout the Ordovician, being mainly affected by place of origin of genera, differences in migration routes, and changes in the position of facies belts.
