Popis:	This paper describes an X-band transmitter designed and developed for Indian Remote Sensing Satellite (IRS) for transmitting the imagery data obtained by the on-board linear imaging self scanning cameras. The transmitters flown on-board IRS 1A and IRS 1B are performing to its expectations in transmitting valuable data of the imageries of the Indian region. The design criteria along with the description of various stages of the transmitter have been discussed in this paper.
