Popis: | The Interferometric Modulator (IMod) is a micromachined, deformable optical cavity whose reflected color changes with the application of a voltage. Exhibiting switching speeds >50 kHz and prominent hysteresis, these devices show much promise as the basis for video-rate full-color reflective FPDs. Their development status will be presented. |
