Popis:	Breast cancer is one of the diseases that mostly affects the female population worldwide. Not only because of the high mortality rate and the difficulty of detection, but also because of the physical and psychological sequelae, it causes in women. Currently, there is a set of tools and models to assist the early detection of breast cancer for the U.S. population, however, its application to the Latino and Caribbean population has not had the expected results. The models and tools use risk factors predefined in 1989 as part of the Gail model for the North American white population, without the possibility of introducing new risk factors or evaluating the incidence factor of each one of them in the appearance of the disease. Other works have been proposed in the bibliography, however, they are calibration of the original model, having the same limitations. In the present work, an analysis of the models and tools is carried out with the aim of contrasting the results obtained and presenting in the immediate future new techniques for the calculation of the factor or index of incidence of risk factors in the manifestation of the disease.
