Design and Implementation of Smart Glasses Solution in Electromechanical Systems

Popis: The article describes intelligent devices focused to smart glasses, analyze the technology of smart glasses belonging to the group of wearable devices and their possible use in the electromechanical systems. It may happen that smart glasses will be in the center of business electronics in future, similar to today’s smartphones. The article presents design of smart glasses software, it handles about software link between electric drives controlled by Siemens PLC and Android OS. This link provides the control process data visualization and its control. Automated process applications are available for development to enhance control automation processes. There are several smart glasses types, with different operating system, camera type, resolution, shape, control system etc. The proposed software is built into Android Studio and tested via the emulator. Because the app was created for specific smart glasses, the emulator eyeglass maker was used. Emulator is an application on a mobile phone serving as a representation of physical glasses. The emulator is an app on a cellphone emulating physical glasses.
